Hello Stingray Families! My name is Karen Ladman and I’m excited to be returning as Head Coach for Summer 2025! I’ve been part of the Stoney Glen Swim Team since 2016, first as a swim mom, then as Team Manager and Lesson Instructor, before transitioning to Head Coach. During the school year I am Head Novice Coach for the SwimRVA Rapids, a USA Swimming Club. Prior to that I was Head Coach at the Petersburg Family YMCA. My biggest joy is watching swimmers improve and achieve more than they even thought they could.
I’m excited to welcome my Stingrays back to the pool and am looking forward to an outstanding summer season!
